Ok - Here are the slabs of coral I got at the show. While I did not cut these, I'm putting them here because it really sounds like Member's Photos section is no longer for rock related photos. 1st pic shows a large slab I got from one vendor, and then some smaller pieces I got form a 2nd guy. Second guy has nicer stuff, but I had to get over my reluctance to buy by the gram. Second photo is a few more pieces I went back today (Sun) and got. It really is some of the nicest cell definitions and some of the most solid and some of the most interesting pastel shades ... etc. Basically I wanted it. I lost track of the exact cost but all together less than $90 on coral. (click for full size) I will do some pendants, and maybe some intarsa borders, but I am thinking about two bolos for myself. Those look really nice Dan. The bolos you have in mind will also look fantastic. You are right about the highly defined cell structure. Thanks for sharing and glad you had a good time at the show. Steve

Boy, I love that stuff. Great patterns! First I've seen the gray type. More and more of what we see here now is the red heat treated stuff. Don't like it much when they mess with the colors.....Mel
