I have some red bone, and some gray/white. I have wanted some blue for a while. This slab is one of 4 slabs of the sme bone the show vendor had. It is not the nicest, but it is close and was half the price of the nicer one. It will be a bolo for me. (lately I have been thinking of myself a lot!) (click for larger)  think this will be the bolo, given the location of a few hairline cracks. The black is ink and will come off. I need to fill in a few small pits, but should not be a problem.  It looks a little dark, and I am thinking about whether some 1/4" border in a lighter stone might work. Has to be something that fits with the red, blue, and overall bone theme. |

Dan,
Love the Blue Dino Bone! And there's nothing wrong with thinking about yourself. It sounds like you need to do that for yourself. You've moved out to a beautiful state, so relax a little and do yourself something for a change.

Very nice stone! It's the first time when I see blue dino bone with clearly bone structure.

Love that dino bone. And while I think the red stuff is amazing, I have found myself enjoying all manner of shades. I have several small pieces of white/light blue cell material and am dying to work on it. Should I ever actually have time.

Ya know I've never seen blue dino bone before... . and I bet those are going to be some Bad ass bolo's when you're done.. Very stylish! can't wait to see them when they are done so don't forget to post the finished pieces puhleeeez!..

Great looking bone. I just sent some bluish colored Whale bone to Tony, and he started cutting it the other night. Maybe he will post a pic. so we can see if it's blue on the inside. i havn't had a chance to cut any yet !
