Here's another slab from one of Kim's rocks. I posted two more slabs from the same rock last week, this is the last cut from that one.....

Possibly the nicest. Maybe don't be in a hurry to cut this one. Would make a great box top.

Wow Randy, that slab is outstanding. Very unusual pattern and the colors are really interesting...Mel

Daniel, I'm gonna hang on to all three of the last slabs for a while, I need some time to think for sure. (if my head starts to smoke, someone get water) ;D A box top is actually a great idea, and I can even make the box. I think that I'll give it a try, it'll be another first for me. Another thing that I thought of is maybe a pen holder set for a desk? Not sure what the true name is. Has anyone tried this?

Now that is one cool slab, looks like a Picasso portrait! Should be worth a couple of million. Tony

Tony, that is exactly what I was thinking. It seems Pablo Picasso hid some of his artworks inside rocks.

Only stating the obvious, but that is a great slab. Perhaps it could be turned into one of those gigantic cabs some folks do. Look forward to seeing what you do with it.
