Well, I promised more pics so I took more pics, I saw stuff and just started shooting pics. Here's my dining room table. This is how it looks all of the time, been this way for damn near a year. ;D My random tray, this is some of my personal stuff. KD, you may notice the two Botswana slabs that you sent me. I'm still scared to cut them. lol... Waiting until I get "real good" ;D Also, two Botswana cabs that Robert (rocksd) sent me, a couple cabs from Ed, and a wire wrap from Jeremy is in there as well.... My personal rough collection... Some shiney stuff... Another one of Harlie's collections... This collection is going to a kid in Canada, "Erik"..... My druzy cab (still under construction) ;D

Dot- Naaaa.... I look like the "male" version of Medussa. ;D Roxy- Wait 'til I build the next dining room table. I already have the slab of glass. It's 6 feet long, 3 feet wide, and a half inch thick!! The sides will be walnut strips about ten inches wide and the inside will be full of rocks, both rough and polished. Some of the rough will be up to 25 pounders. (honest) ;D

Randy, Great rocks! Great cabs! Great table! Could I make a suggestion on the drusy cab? I have found that when I include sections of the crystalline part of the slab in the girdle of the cab it is rather difficult to keep the girdle symmetrical. The crystals are softer and tend to come out. I try to include the agate as a border outside the crystalline part. It also adds a frame to the overall cab. Here is an example of what I'm talking about. Here I used a drafting template to draw the outline, but you could probably freehand it and do as well. Just an idea. Bob

The only problem with this one is that it's already 40x30mm. Any bigger would end up being a shelf display. I'm gonna give this one a try, I have more of them to mess up. lol.... Thanks Bob!

Randy darlin' you have got some really pretty stuff there and it sounds like you will have a killer table when you're done with it. It's going to be way cool, can't wait to see pics. That stuff you're sending Erik is gorgeous, if that don't turn him into a full fledged rockhound, nothing will.

I'm jealous Randy-not over your table of rocks, but over the fact that you get to LEAVE your rocks on your table! MY SO has a fit over much less on our table! LOL.....but, nice rocks too!
