When returning from Montana I decided to stop off in Wheatland, Wyoming to visit Eloxite Corporation. First of all it's not like a retail store it's more of a mail order warehouse with some manufacturing going on. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be in there or not but then the owner, Bob Berry made me feel right at home and the first thing we started talking about was tumblers. Bob started Eloxite in 1955 and is still running it today. Or at least he thinks he's running it. Most of his staff is female and they are a pretty lively bunch. They were trading barbs back and forth the whole time I was there. Bob pointed to a wall of tumbler parts for just about every tumbler made in the past and today. So keep that in mind if you need a hard to find part. They don't have much rough stone in stock but I managed to find some tumble polished Montana agates. They had a wide selection of saw blades clear up to 36". They also have the most impressive assortment of base metal belt buckles, bolo neck ties, bracelets, etc to set calibrated cabs into. And tons of calibrated cabs. I saw stuff at Eloxite that I haven't seen since the 70's. It was nice break from the highway. And I got a new blade for my 10" that just sails through agates like butter. Best $56 blade I ever bought. Their website is at: www.eloxite.net/ Ask to be put on their mailing list. There are coupons in every mailer. Rick

I get their catalog, but have never ordered from them. It's always got some fun stuff though.

I bought my genie from them in 2002 and recently bought a lapidary geyser. Good service.
