Does anyone have any experience using an Ultra-vibe 10 to polish rocks? I have one that I have used with corn-cob media to polish brass, but I'm not sure if I can use it with wet mixes to polish stones.
Thanks!

They make an "Industrial" for rock that has a bigger motor and heavier drum. The standard model is for metal finishing (lighter loads).

If you slightly under fill, I would Imaging it would last a while. You can replace the barrel with the heavy one. I think many folks have bought the wrong color stripe bymistake, and never realized it. If the motor burns out, you can get another motor. May last a while before you ever need to fix it.

I use the UV-10, but it's the one that's designed specific for rocks so I'm not sure what the differences are, but what Daniel said makes sense. I have a rotary tumbler as well, but I like the vibe alot better.
