Good job Joe!As you go along you will find yourself trying new idea`s and methods,it`s addicting. One thing i found that works for me is i took some paint sticks and glued various grits of SC sandpaper strips on them that way i can very gradually work the stone down,if you use a dremel type tool you can take off too much in spots due to the high speed and once you get a spot where you removed too much there`s no way to put it back, hope this helps..........Rocky

Beautiful work! You put an amazing shine on that knife.
One question though: if this is a full size knife, how do you name mine? Sword? ;D
Adrian
PS: Why a switchblade and not a balistic one? ;D

Thanx everyone! I learned a lot with this project. I want to start another one soon. ;D Adrian... my knife will sit there for show, yours will probably have to be registered as a dangerous weapon!! ;D A sword with teeth!! Well, switchblades sound cool and I don't know what a ballistic knife is???

Joe, for balistic knife take a look here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballistic_knifeI think the only part that cannot be made of jade is the spring Adrian PS. I found it while googeling "switchblade", which I didn't know what means.

Wow! I had never heard of knives that could do that! They seem to be very illegal so I gues I won't be making one soon. ;D

Really like the knife Joe! You got a real good shine on that baby. The Happy Camp material is nice to work with. Your carving area is top notch too.
