Awhile ago I posted a pic of a tiny little Poppy Jasper cab. And was thankful it didnt fracture coming off the dop as it was the only piece of Poppy that I owned. Well, Ed being the genereous person he is offered to send me a few pieces of Poppy. I was so thrilled. Well you know he sent more than the Poppy. ;D I'm sorry to say I didnt get a pic of everything before I started working it. First, here are two cabs of Poppy Jasper. This stuff is so pretty. I love orby material. And you did great Ed these pieces had no fractures. I'm not sure what I have here so I'm giving it my best shot. I believe this is Lapis. Again, not sure. I think this is Pietersite. Correct me if I'm wrong Ed. And I couldn't believe this. This was just a brown slab with what I though was a little bit of opal showing. I'm still working this. Slowly, little by little grinding it. I'm scared I'm gonna ruin it. I believe this is Boulder Opal? These are a few that I have preformed. Do you see the Dragon? Dont know what this is either. Thanks for looking. ~~Mitzi~~

Awesome pietersite. Some great cabs in there. The B.O. is an eye popper. You got a super shine on them.

Nice cabs Mitzi! You did an awesome job on all of them. You've got the ID's correct..and the dragon Stone is dryhead agate. Ed is one of the swellest guys around. Can't wait to see your BO finished. Steve

Great cabs, those are all very nice. I especially like the second poppy and the second pietersite. Of course those 2 are followed closely by all the rest of them. I was glad I got the chance to meet Ed last fall, he is one of those great guys that you feel like you have known your whole life. (And I think he has a secret rock hoard in a bomb proof shelter under his house, just in case something happens, so he will always have something to work, and I applaud him for the foresight to do that.)

Wow that is some fantastic material that Ed sent to you and you did a wonderful job on the cabs. The second poppy and the Pietersite are my favs. Pietersite is such an amazing stone and at the top of my list of favs.
