I finally got a batch of stones finished with the new Lot-O. I would have liked to let the rocks tumble longer in coarse on the rotaries but I got impatient to get them into the vibe. All in all I think I got the hang of using the vibe pretty well though you can tell I still need some practice. The smoky quartz really had a lot of fractures. I've started a batch of wood in the vibe tonight. I'll see if I do better on it.

The first stones are amethyst. The bulk of this batch were quartz (amethyst, citrine, smokey quartz, and rock crystal). Most of the stuff in the final pic are simply filler rocks I pulled from our gravel drive. Now that I've gotten to use the vibe I won't be so impatient. I have a batch of agate in a rotary I want to throw in, but when I checked them today I still wasn't happy with the shaping so I recharged and put them back on for another week. Plus I need to finish up the batch of wood that's in the vibe right now. I need to replace a belt on the big rotary so right now that is only running one set of shafts.
