Hi, I am a newbie here and to tumbling. I want to know if it is safe to leave the tumbler running when we are away from home or gone for a week? I am deathly afraid of the thing melting down and starting a fire. I find out that the Thumler Model T that I bbought on ebay does not have thermal protection, but uses impedance protection (whatever that means). So is this thing a disaster waiting to happen? Thanks

I dont think you have much to worry about the machine is designed to run alot but to be on the safe side I wouldn't start a stage if you are leaveing for a week? as an added note my machine hasn't stopped running for 3 months ;D if you can move it outdoors while your gone you will have a stage complete when you get back hope this helps.....HURK
