I am going to replace the blade on my 18in Lortone in the next couple of weeks. I am cutting mostly agate, petrified wood, and jasper. I need suggestions for which blade is the best for the money, and where to order it from. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Diane

The Barranca/MK303S would serve you well or the new 301Gemking for more $. Both are excellent blades for hard materials.

I know of two people using the MK 303 and really like it. It really leaves a smooth finish. Saves a lot of grinding time. When I get ready to replace , the 303 is what I'll prolly get. Oh, and that is cutting mostly Montana agate, which is pretty stinking hard. MSJ
