I've been working on some Sodalite and Amazonite, since they're about the same hardness. But I didn't get enough cushioning in the later stages so my sodalite has the crackling around the edges from bouncing around. I know how and why it happens... so my question is....
How far back to I need to put the sodalite in order to get rid of the crackling? Can I start at the medium? Or should I go back to the coarse?

If you're still satisfied with the shape, you might be ok to just go back to the medium stage. Sodalite is soft enough that medium should cut them just fine.

Yeah, the shape on most of them are fine. Some of them weren't as crackly as I thought they were. But they'll all go back through.
Thanks!

I hope I get it right, Sodalite will be my 1st load to tumble. I will be using a Lortone 45c rotary tumbler for the rough tumble. And the I will use a vibe for the rest.
