A week ago it was 75F (24C), I was wearing shorts, I went rock collecting. Just a distant memory now... -Don

Wow, what a snow!!! But you seem to be fully equipped to get rid of it with that giant shovel.

It was 83 degrees here Saturday, back down in the 60's today. It'll be back in the 70's in a few days though.

It snowed because you still have Christmas lights hanging from your trees!

Aw Jeez! I really don't know how you snow dwellers stand it! Makes me cold just looking at the picture. I'm always wanting to move where it's hotter! I'd freaking curl in a ball and die if I lived up there....Mel

Thanks for the mix of commiserating and gloating. ;D Spring snowstorms aren't unusual here, but usually they are very localized events and they melt away in a day or two. This is different - a full-fledged return to mid-winter, which has affected the entire province, and days ago was already being called the the worst April weather in more than 20 years. Average highs now should be 57F (14C), but we're running forty degrees below that, not even counting the wind chill values, which make it feel sub-zero F (minus twenties celsius). Pretty depressing really. I thought it had ended today, but the last time I looked out the window it was snowing heartily again, with a temperature of 10F (-12C).... that already beats the old record-low for this date of 16F (-9C). -Don

Don that is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny!!
You look like a little sad puppy who no one wants to take home!!!
I know how you feel! It's t-shirt weather here in CT right now but look out!!!!! As they say,,, "If you don't like the New England weather just wait a minute!! LOL
I hope the snow melts for you and someone will take the "sad puppy" home with them!!

I like joe's comment, it snowed because of the Christmas lights!
And connrock, I thought the saying here in Houston was "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute!"
Not to gloat, but we'll be in the 80's today, with humidity making it feel like the 90s. For us, it is possible that Spring is over and Summer is here. Be sure to post pics of your nice weather in July, when we are just dying in this steamy sauna down here!

Sorry Don but 24C IS a winter daytime temperature in Brisbane. Maybe 20C on a REALLY cold day! I suppose we've got no idea what cold really is.

I feel for you Don! Our 8 feet of snow piled on each side of the driveway just melted away and all the rivers are over-flowing because it all melted in 2 weeks! - we had shorts weather here too @ 24C. I want to start my pool it looks so inviting despite the yucky water and decomposing leaves.... it's A/C weather - but that could change too
Farmers almanac says a big huge storm in May!
+8C and we wear shorts here in Canada - you can always spot Canadians in Florida because of that!

I can so sympathize with you Don! Was that part of the storm that dumped the three feet on us? No, ours was earlier than that, the first/second week of April. Ours is all gone now so hopefully you won't have to deal with it too long but that really sucks for making lots of flooding all over doesn't it. We're supposed to get more snow tonight or tomorrow night ... sorry KD, it's probably heading your direction too.
