As some might know from another of my post I was looking for a way to cab lying down since I am bed ridden for a majority of the day. I decided on the All-You-Need flat lap. I finished my very first batch of cabs today. The unit is suiting my needs just fine. It's just the right height that I can reach it while lying down on my side on my futon. My work needs improvement but all in all I think they came out acceptable for my first try. I can still only work an hour at a time this way, but it's better than nothing. Congrats. Very nice cabs. I'd have to say #'s 4,6,8,&9 with #8 being my favorite. Keep up the good work!

Great start there, Lee . . . gives a new meaning to layin’ down on the job, at least nowadays. That’s how the German agate cutters are shown over a hundred years ago, at water-powered wheels.
Pretty busy start, too . . . crankin’ em out like Stoner. ;D I like 8, 9 and 10, #9 best of all.

Hey, Lee! I'm pretty sure the Romans cabbed laying down, so you are in pretty good company. Those folks ruled the world for a while I'm amazed you can control your lines so well, mine would be all wavy trying to do it in bed. Nice material too! Good work. Tony

Nice job, Lee!!!! #2 and 6 are my favorites. They're really good for a first try, period...never mind lying down!!! I can't wait to see what you've got in store for us down the road.

Wow, great work! Your shapes look nice and even/symmetrical. I think #8 and #10 are my favorites!

To tell the truth I have no idea what a lot of the material is. Most of it came from grab bag type boxes of slabs I bought. The only ones I'm sure of are the ones I slabbed myself. The two plumes are Graveyard Point. The aventurine is from material purchased from the Rock Shed.
