I really like rutiliated quartz! I have always wanted to get some to tumble...but have sooo much to get through; who know if and when! I like that slab to. What is it?? Burro creek?? Steve

Steve, that slab is from a rock that a middle school kid found at Woodward Ranch several years ago when I took them out there. He was kind enough to let me have it. I forgot to post it with the other WWR agates.

Very nice rutilated. But my favorite is that WWR slab.

That is some beautiful stuff and a great shine! The only problem i have is I can see from the last pic that the weather there is a whole lot better than here! perfect relection/shine

I've got a bunch of rutilated quarts I bought from Teresa Rocks on eBay. I retumbled them because they were pretty beat up. They all came out nice but only about 10% came out cab worthy. About 50% came out tumbled specimen worthy and the rest were good enough to give away to kids at shows. I tumbled them all together and they came out nice and that was even before I discovered this board so I was pretty much a rookie tumbler.
