How is the rubber on that sanding drum? Will it need repair? What grit belt are you planning? WIll you switch out the SC for diamond wheels? What grit is planned for the wheels? Is there a drain on the pan?

The expansion sanding drum foam was dry rotted and SHOT. I bought a new 8" high density foam replacement from a jewelery supply store in PHX and scraped/putty knifed it off. I then cleaned old glue off with acetone and reaplied the foam with scotch 3m glue. The grit I installed on it is 400. I intend to use the SC wheels (80 & 120) to learn on 'cause they are in excellent shape. When rhey wear down, I'll tear the machine back down and put on diamonds. <IMG SRC="http://usera.imagecave.com/Rockaholic/IMG_0442.JPG">
