Been here a couple months & haven't posted any pictures...thought I should so you don't think I'm a wannabe. The ruby in zoisite blade is about 4 1/2" for size reference. These are photoed wet. I'm up to 600 grit SiC with these. Next will be 1200 diamond on a flat lap followed by diamond polish (except for the blade..gonna have to think about that one for a while. Got a few pieces of agate and jasper from Ozzy and a couple of pet wood and one labradorite from stonesthatrock and a bunch of stuff I have laying around. Thanks for looking, Lee

Wow, those look fabulous! I'm sure you'll be ecstatic if they shine like that when they're finished!
Thanks for showing us.

They'll shine like that if I keep them wet <G> Waiting now for my finger nails to grow back out before going to the flat lap.
Been busy cabbing, slabbing, and tumbling. Can't hardly wait for my tax rebate..want to pick up a couple 15lb rotaries. I have a lot of agate and jasper rough to tumble.

lparker, Nice bunch of stones. Have you worked with the Australian Iron Stone before? Found it has tendency to blend into it self. One note to all, this stuff is getting harder to get.

First time with the iron stone/tiger-eye. The bands seem to hold together ok so far. Yup, a couple pieces of malachite...pretty rock but messy.
Here's a question...what color stone handle will go with the blade??
