Since this is the place to put everything about creating cabs, I guess this fits. I went to the Gemstreet show in Rochester, NY last weekend and bought some slabs and rough. The Shattuckite cab I made a while ago was nice so I bought a couple chunks to slab and cab. Then another guy was selling some slabs.. I paid a little more than what shows on a couple of the pieces. Do you see a lightning stike between the clouds and ground in the upper right piece? Thanks for looking.

I do see the lightening. Make sure that is not a weak spot or crack. Do not stress it.

Definitely a weak spot..partially healed fracture. I'll be gentle. And, do you realize how hard it is to take a picture with a halogen light source and the camera set at super-macro, using a top of the camera flash? Glad I have photo editing..........

Yeah, when I use super macro, I pretty much tyrnb off the flash and rely on table-top photo lighting.

Very nice aquisitions. That picture jasper is my fav, too. Try to completely stabilize the "lightning" with some super glue or epoxy before grinding it.
