Well its been a while since I posted anything, too busy with life and the lack of a camera will do that to you. I have a bunch of cabs done and will post them in groups. Sorry for the mediocre pics, I had to use a unfamiliar camera. I think this is goldstone. It didn't take a very good shine. Blue lace agate. This has some really fine lines in it. Bodie agate Unknown jasper Brueanu jasper, one of my favorite cabs so far. This one will be a necklace for me. Unknown from desertdweller. It has a lot of hematite in it. Another from Jamie, chrysocolla. Exotica jasper. I love this one too. Gary green pet bog. Lastly an unknown agate. Another very pretty rock. Tony

Love the exotica. The unknown looks familiar, someone will ID it soon.

I love the exotica jasper (that stuff smells when you cab doesn't it?, but don't get me started...)
The first one I think is aventurine - it has sparkly mica bits in it, has a somewhat textured surface, it takes an okay to very good shine, however, the goldstone is a darker opaque green & shines up like glass - either way i like the first one, it's sparkly pretty!

Thanks for all the compliments. Tweety is right, the first is adventurine. Anyone know how to get a good shine on this. I let my mother pick out one for mothers day and that is the one she wants. I want it shiny before I make it into a necklace though.
