Oh my god it's been a long time - this is NOT like riding a bike, I almost forgot how to do this... after what is probably two months or so of having a broken cabberand having fixed it myself (I'm rather proud of that - I'm back ! and it feels so GOOOOOD! I really have to get away from the circular shapes - I'm getting there I may be off on names, it's been so long, I'm just happy they turned out so nice & shiny! Here's what I got - PS: I love diamond belts!!! Jamie's chrysocolla This is a favorite of mine, picasso marble - I like the "soapy"feel of this when cabbing - very therapeutic Some sort of palm or wood Montana agate - the colors a little yellow - it's more whitish red tiger eye - nice color play green agate? Willow creek?? i think this came from WarrenA Picture jasper some wood - I kept the light brown skin - cuz I thought it looked nice wood - this stuff is like a piece of mahogony - the grain is there and all - I liked it so much I made the same shape as the last one I did last time another picasse marble - this one looks like a bug of some sort picture tiger eye - I like the hematite bands in this stuff - there's some softer brown stuff that grinds down super fast same one - trying to get the hematite bands red brecciated jasper - I like this stuff, it's like a mirror! Thanks for looking

great cabs, Tweet, good to see you back at it! so what broke on your cabbre and how did ya fix it? KD Somehow water infiltrated through the saw part and rusted the bearing (sleeve?) on the unit on that side - I had to take apart the whole thing - TWICE (cuz I forgot to put the belt back on before assembling) *duh* The whole thing stopped turning, I thought it was the motor that was fried but after removing the belt the motor turned fine, I just couldn't budge the shaft I emailed Lortone and asked what they thought it was, they phoned and we discussed and they sent me the piece - they're a great bunch - kudos to them! I'm just glad I got it fixed - I didn't realize how much i relax when cabbing, it just drowns out all sounds *kids, spouse, ringing phone...* I'm proud of myself for doing it alone (and for finding the correct tools when they're never to be found where they should be!) I really missed cabbing! Cabber's anonymous anyone? Hi my name is Tweetiepy and I'm a cabber!

WTG on fixing your cabbing machine Tweet! I know what you mean by how much relaxation you can get just by sitting down and making something come to life. You've got a great selection there, and what an awesome variety of shapes. I like that diamond shaped wood too...and the Willow creek is mighty fine. Oh..BTW...my name is steveholmes s-t-e-v-e-h-o-l-m-e-s-.....and I'm a Cabber too!

Great cabs Tweet! The two picasso's are my fav, especially the first, I really like that shape. Isn't tiger eye with hematite called tiger iron or is that something else?

Isn't tiger eye with hematite called tiger iron or is that something else? I'm not sure what it's called, tiger iron, iron stone, picture tiger eye - I'm not sure either - there was some sort of discussion a while back and I forget what the outcome was - I thought it was picture tiger eye because it had a scene in it - I like this stuff whatever it is... Thanks everyone for the comments!

Nice work Tweet! I'd say the palm is actually stromatolite algae from Wamsutter, WY. I love the swirls in that stuff.....Mel
