Just a couple today. These are free-forms, and I really like the shape of the plume. I wanted to try some inside curves...and it's tough. I'm not sure the best way to do inside curves...but I'm gonna PM some of the masta's for advice! ;D I didn't dop these, and they turned out alright. The little cracks in the wood took me a little by suprise...but oh well. I'm still learning. I know I can get a better shine on the wood too. Whattcha Think??? Steve

Thanks Tweet! and your definitely right. It's not the safest shape...and it reminds me of how every kid eats a candy cane...the sharper the tip...the better! Steve

Great job on those cabs Steve! The Unique shapes are really interesting. The pet wood looks like real wood, where did you find that stone?

Hey Tony, The Pet Wood came from Oregon. I believe Lookout Point Reservoir; just outside of Lowell. While I was living there I spent many winter days walking the shorelines....and I sure do miss it! Is having unique shapes a good thing or bad?? Steve

Steve for the inside curves, how about holding the stone flat against the grinding wheel and letting it take the curve of the wheel? That's how I do mine
