Hi everybody. It pains me so to cut this stone But I sure do like the end result ;D Our mineral guy in Mongolia wants to see a sample of what we do with the stones in America. I thought I would send him this one Front Back Backlit I'll send this one too (if my wife will part with it, up to her) Some Sagenite The rough is very fractured. I think the harsh climate with -80 to +100 in the Gobi desert. Thanks for looking! Geoff

Thanks for the compliments. Yes they are going there. It's funny, my wife came home with these huge red coral beads 1"x 1 1/8" diameter. That coral came from ??, then went to china, then Tucson then the bay area and off to Mongolia. Her rock hound in Mongolia wants to carve snuff bottle tops, sell them and buy a car. He says all he gets is seconds and wants to collect his own rocks to sell to us.
We can send a flat-rate envelope for 17.95 max. 4 pounds.

Beautiful cabsn Geoff! Mongolia seems to have beautiful rocks. Does it happen to be pet wood among them?

Oh yes. They have so much pet wood. My wife says it's all over the place. I saw a thing about the Gobi desert. There was a nomad living right next to some amazing dinosaur bones. Agates, pet wood and fossils abound. Also the Gobi desert is home t the largest gold-rush in modern times. They have 1 million+ year old deposits of placer over there and they have never had a glaicer to move stuff around.

Very interesting agates Geoff. I think it would be great to see some Mongolian agates and pet woods on the market.
