So here's some of my Willow Creek I've been hoarding... This next one is a 3 pound hunk that has some good definition of orbs and lines. Mostly cream & gray but I found some pink peaking through on the other side. BUT...I've got to ask the gentleman I purchased it from about the "rust pits" that are popping up on the face. Even though it's just a rock...maybe I shouldn't be exposing it to the elements. Can you believe this is willow? Looks like bruneau...don't it? And last but not least...my baby! I've posted this before but it's just so unusual I couldn't refrain! LOL I'm going to have it set for a pendant with gold pearls & maybe garnets but I'm gonna wait till gold goes to a more realistic $$ amount. Thank You for lookin!

Beautiful collection of slabs, amazing colors and patterns there! I remember that cab and I wouldn't mind if you'd post it every day, top-notch isn't enough said about it.

Thanks Adrian! I did talk to Philip @ Tigeroak about the rust. It's microscopic iron deposits and he said they of course pop out when they start rusting but if I ever cut the hunk...they will not go very far into the rock itself.

Drool, drool, drool. Someone teach me how to do the smileys who bounce up and down in their own drool, please!
I know you love Morrisonite, Liz, but I love Willow Creek! That huge hunk is beautiful, and I'm also drawn to the green one that's kind-of stripey...
Gollee, you've got all of this stuff (or at least the big stuff) outside in your garden? I wish I lived closer to WA state!

That is one fine collection. Willow Creek and Carey Green (or is it Gary Green) are my all time favorite stones. I have only one small slab of Willow and am waiting to learn cabing and become expert before I even consider working it. I can see why you call that cab your baby.

Great looking cab. I also like willow creek material, but so far it is to expensive for me.

Nice collection Liz!! I see why you have been hoarding it. I have a few pieces of willow creek, I will post them here for identification purposes. Tony
