I received a wonderful box of rocks from Adrain recently. I received them a little while ago but haven't had time to post photos until now (kitchen remodel, nearly done, more later). So here they are! These guys traveled all the way from Romania. I was so delighted to see them all! I am really into pet wood, so it was great to see some of the wood he's collected right in front of me! Anyway, here they are: Slabs of pet wood, agate, and opalized wood: Very cool striped jasper One of my faves, agate with a druzy pocket. Can't decide if I want to cab this one or leave it the way it is. Lesbos agates. They are so interesting in person! My wife took an instant liking to them. She liked the soft feel of them ;D Riverbank jasper and carbonite onyx! The jasper has a neat shell in it. Adrian, how did you know to cut in the right spot to find it? Do you have rock X-ray vision? Big hunk of jasper with interesting yellow fortification spot. This is gonna make some awesome cabs! Pet wood! More wood, some of it opalized. And finally, he sent me a cool polished chunk of pet wood! Seeing it in person is amazing. It's really interesing and he puts one heck of a shine on that stuff! This photo doesn't do it justice. It's got a mirror polish. Thank you Adrain!!!! I love them all! Steve

Hey, Steve, I'm so glad you enjoy the rocks I sent you. They are pretty, but your poppy jaspers you sent me are way prettier! I didn't picture them yet, but I already made a cab from a Morgan Hill slab. Check the wrapping area to see it.
That small fossil was pure luck!
I'm glad that your half enjoyed the Lesbos rocks. You could tumble one or two of them, to get them even softer.

if all the world loved rocks as much as we all do, there would be no war. no strife. just multiple flat rate boxes of joy.
