Hi I found some time to get a few done; photos could have been a bit better. Indian paint, the dark areas are really hard while the gray is really soft; unfortunately I under cut a bit. Some of Janie's AZ material; always a joy. The camera didn't get all the colors right. There is milky quartz "ribbon" in the center it looks more brown in the photo and the green in the photo is a bit more than the cab. Did this one for a friend she said it was corprolite I bought this as Palomino, a lot like a dolomite Unikite Iris Not a cab ;D ;D, cut a bunch from my yard

I have the same irises, but mine bloomed about 1 1/2 months ago! Big difference in climates, heh? Great work, the Palamino is awesome.

Nice work Larry, it's about time you posted some cabs. I like the bird perched in the paint stone, great shape.

The first one looks like a bird on a weathered barrel with the sun rising behind it. That's really cool, those all look great!!

Those are some nice ones Larry. I love Palomino stone and you did a great job with it. I like to tease my daughter with corprolite when we are at rock shows. lol I really like the one from Jamie too, nice shape.

Tony.. I did two show and tells with kids at school. I cut the top off a "pile" of corprolite and use it. I would say a bit about what things were and then hand them out. When I got to the corprolite I handed to one of the parents who was there. She was looking at it turning it around in her hand. I told her it was Dino poop and she about tossed it in the air like it was a big hairy spider. I knew her pretty good so she and the kids just laughed. Oh course the boys thought it was the coolest thing. Dinosaurs and poop all in one; like having your cake and eating too. LMAO it was a really good time.

I like the Palomino very much, but my fav is the Indian Paint. I see a rooster singing in the early morning, on his branch, while the Sun is rising behind him. Adrian PS. Now I see Ed and Randy had the same vision. It's a great releaf knowing I'm not the only one
