It's a 55 Chevy Belair (hardtop). They're getting really hard to find, almost every one of them that are for sale are the 210 model (two-door post).

OK, I don't know what most of that means, but it is a VERY coool car! I also like the one in the background, LOL. Have you ever heard of a Humpmobile (Hupmobile)? Did I say that right? There is an auction out my way that said it has the only KNOWN fully restored one in the world??? Also some other nice cars; anyone in the area, have fun! www.michaelauction.com/?Auction=37

"Hupmobile"... or it could be a Humpmobile if you're in the back seat. ;D ....The purple car in the background is my 1930 Chevy...

Brings back memories of the old days for me...I was heavily involved in drag racing because I worked for a company that made high performance racing and safety products. We had a prostock Camaro that raced every weekend with a 454 powered with dual quads...not much for gas mileage but it did run like the wind until the wives said enough...I'll have to see if I can dig up some old pics. In any event nice wheels both of them!!

Now that's a fine ride! Looking at that car sums up why General Motors had Ford and Chrysler beat by a mile. So much more class and style.

How many cabs would it take to trade for the car? hehehehe I will start making them in the morning. I learned to drive on a 55 chevy.

Brings back memories of my mispent youth! Never had the mid fities, BUT had a 2 door hardtop 63 Impala. Factory 4 speed and a 327-AWESOME CAR!! If my parents got mad I could sleep in the trunk if necessary. I still miss that car even though it has been gone since 75.
