Question about the rheostat control on these units...has anyone ever had them die?? I have one which is an older unit that just died and no longer controls the tumbler...it runs high speed forever. Speaking with a friend last night who purchased his about the same time I did and had the same thing happen. Neither unit has loads of time on it but they are well beyond warranty...I tried to use a OTC dimmer switch with no luck...still runs balls out. Has anyone experienced this problem??? What would be the options we have to get them back to control??? Any help would be appreciated!!! ;D ;D ;D

My old mini-sonic seems to have kind of the same problem ( seems to have lost the slow speed end of the scale) and, in addition, it seems to have shaken something loose that makes it sound more like a helicopter than a tumbler.......Mel
