Some of these are not really cabs. The images were cool, but on the big size about 2 and half inches. Also, if I did a dome I would loose the image; so I shaped them a bit and polished them. I am going use them in a project I have in mind; just haven't figured out what it is exactly. Amazon valley blue biggs amazon valley; I see a pegasus it was more clear, but lost a bit when I polished it. I was debating for about 6 months on clear coating it or polishing it. Yep, I can still be obsessive ;D This next one is a cab; crazy lace I think bought the mini slab for a buck at a flea market. Last and to confuse things more; this will be a pendant; someday, but not sure if you can call it a cab. Blue lace with a very light amethyst crystal bunch on the right side side view

I agree cabs are mini sculptures. I have made some big cabs before, but thought these would be to big for jewelry. I am thinking of something like a stained glass window only with polished stones. I am just not sure if I want to use the same lead stuff in the stained glass or if it is going to be used in a window or a wall. When I think cab I think some type of jewelry. Since I don't have jewelry in mind I don't know what to call them. Mini sculptures sounds good. Anyone else got ideas or knows of a term for them. I am sure somewhere sometime some has done something like I am thinking.

You gotta leave the blue lace like that! it's very "arty" and sculpture-like - a true winner!

I am not interested in setting cabs and creating. I making electronic images of them or looking at them in Ryker boxes. Maybe when I have more time I could work out a display under a glass top coffee table.

Its always interesting to hear other ideas for using polished stones. Good job on all of these. Looking forward to the finished product, whatever it ends up being.

I can still see the pegasus. Very cool. The blue lace/amy heart is also fascinating.
