I use a large polished cab. Work it in with circular motion.

Do you apply it while the machine is on?

ok now I am confused. Charged the leather pad ran a cab on the 14000 and its duller than it was when it came off my 8000 belt.

Use your finger and work it in good, or it will come off on your first cab. The leather has to get broken in before it will start working right. Use an agate and moderate pressure and you'll see the fuzzy material coming off. When it's smooth, add a little more paste and try it again. Apply the paste with the machine off.

I applied mine to canvas not leather and I applied it with the pad detached from the machine.

Jonje, I had the same problem with some 50k diamond paste. Never figured out what the problem was. I had to stop using the 50 and go straight to 100k. Let us know if you figure it out.
