Sometime back I found a dive piece that resembled a "Pickle". Well today with nothing better to do I ground it down and polished it. The jade isn't the prettiest around but the shape was very unique. Here is a before and after. Rough: Polished: I think "Max" the pug likes it:

WOW! Amazing polish you've put on an amazingly naturally shaped piece of jade. Now I know how tricky and difficult is to polish jade and I appreciate that shine even more. You could use this piece of jade for training Max to bring it back when you throw it away, just like other dogs do with sticks . In fact his attitude in the last pic shows he already did it. Adrian

Are you familiar with the "Christmas Pickle" tradition? I think you will need a bigger tree... Amazing! Great job on the polish. I think Max will need a doggy life jacket to help him fetch that chunk. Thanks for the wonderful pix.

Been wondering where you've been. Now I see you were in a pickle. Great job! Curt

Max looks like he's very Worried about that "Thing" sitting right next to him. I love the transformation Tony. You do know how to smooth and polish that Jade.....Mr. Jade Master. Give Max a Hug for me and let him know things are going to be alright. I love that Dog! Steve

You really transformed that ugly pickle into nicely polished cucumber. Max looks unsure about it for sure. Nice job! Steve
