What an awesome way to spend a Saturday Night! By myself, out in my shed, stereo blasting some of my highschool era music, drinking a couple ice cold Bud Lights, and Playing with rocks! Here's to all my "Rockin" friends at RTH!!!! The whole bunch of finished cabs from last night. I think these are some of my best yet. I really focused on keeping an even dome as well as an even line along the side. First shot taken this morning with the sunlight. Laguna, 2 Botswana's, Moss Agate (from Snowdog) and 2 Burro Creek agates from Tony (catmandewe) These are taken last night. I'm still working on a light box, and haven't got it perfect as of yet. I'll keep experimenting and hopefully come up with the best solution Laguna too bad it developed the pit in the last stages. Moss Thanks for looking! I'll be out playing today again. Oh yeah, Thanks to Steve and Adrian for the templates and some really cool shapes. I really like the shield shape. Steve

Man, that long slender bots and the laguna are awesome cabs Steve. If the pit on the laguna is near the lower right edge, just re shape the cab a little and it will be perfect. Have an ice cold "Edwieser" on me!

Thanks you guys! Why is everyone bugging me about my clean Genie??!!! ;D ;D I think I've said it before...I'm a clean freak!!! and sometimes rockhounding and me just don't get along. It does get messy though; believe me. I just clean it really good afterwards, and hopefully it will last forever. I wouldn't be able to afford another. Sheri...Now That Would Be Fun! ;D Ed...how about Iced Tea for today. I'll have an "EDWEISER" again next weekend. THANKS AGAIN! You make cabbing fun and rewarding. I guess the Moss was the Fav. Steve

Wow, Steve! Nice set! I like the way you framed the patterns. I really like that top bot. But the shield is my favorite. The way the dark inclusions line up around the two edges gives it an artistic fine tuning. Nice! NOw... those wheels look pretty close together.. and with a too free you, and beer, and the midnight hour... with music... so, how many fingers did you sharpen? T

That sounds like one heck of a fun saturday night. They are all beauts. I cabbed on saturday night as well and did a green moss from snowdog too. I don't think mine came out as nice though. I like the long bot, really neat shape and that laguna is sweet too, shame about the pit.

Cheers! I don't know if it's because of the beer, but the shapes of your cabs "flow" really smooth and nice! The laguna and the moss are my favs.

Tony W, no fingers were sharpened or pilished in the process. They all Survived! :^)) Adrian...what are you saying?? I better drink when I cab?? It has the opposite effect on me...causes me to think better and more artistic!! Steve
