Hi everyone! Today I cabbed a set (pendant + ear-rings) from the Bruneau slab that I received from Stoneageindustries as a reward for my knife. I enjoyed to work this material, it begun to shine after the 400 diamond pad! It seems a bit harder than other jaspers. The big cab has 45 mm length, the small ones - 27 mm length Thanks for looking, Adrian PS. Could you please give me your opinion about how would be better to set those stones, like in the first pic or like in the one below? Thanks again.

They are beautiful! I must get some of that to work with now that I've seen yours!!!
I would set them like the first pic, but that is just individual taste. Great work!!!

Wow, really beautiful stones. I think the first pic would be best for setting.

what a gorgeous set of bruneau! wow, you really nailed that patterns for a beautiful match. being more of a traditionalist, i prefer the first direction (small points up), but with the right settings/mountings, i can imagine a great looking trendy set (small points down).
whatever you do with them, please take a photo!

That will make one eye catching set of jewelry. You got some great eggy orbs; nice shape and super shine.

Adrian...nice job buddy! Bruneau is known for it beautiful finish and like any other material...it can have fractures but seems to be more stable than alot of rough that's out there. I love browns so bruneau is a fav of mine. Reminds me of caramels!

Beautiful! Great shine too. I'd say the ear rings narrow end up and the big one narrow end down. T

Very nice Adrian. You did a great job matching all three pieces. Bruneau is called a porcelain jasper because it takes a great shine and it's very hard. I'd go with the first pic.

Fantastic job Adrian! Bruneau is the hardest material I've ever worked. But it shines like glass with little effort.

Thank you all! I had in mind to set the big one with the narow end downwards, because it resembles to some melted toffee, but both of my girls and most of you are for the classic style, which I think I'm gona use.

Very pretty set. You get such an amazing shine. I like the orientation in the first picture better. Guess I prefer cabs bottom heavy to top heavy.

I always admire your beautiful finishing work. Another top notch job!
IMO, mount them all as in the first pick, tear-drop fashion, big side down.
