That Burro Creek with the fortified vug is kind of unusual. Neat! I think the unknown is probably Calico Agate from Mexico but Kim imports a very similar material from South Africa too....Mel

The Crazy Lace with sagenite is awesome! Was that a chance find in slabbing, or could you see the sagenite? Either way , that is a most beautiful cab! Woody

I agree with the calico lace I.D., but I have also seen it called African lace (as someone mentioned) and luna lace agate. I saw a piece for auction on eBay four or five days ago that was a stunning 6 lb.+ specimen. It looked like it was absolutely top notch quality. Unfortunately, the bidding started at $89, a little too steep for me right now. It would have made a huge number of fantastic cabs, though.

Wow! 1, 2 and 8 are simply gorgeous. Amazing shine on that malachite and very interesting pattern, too. The leader is the crazy lace + sagenite, at least in my eyes.

Thanks so much everyone. Your comments and support are inspirational. The Sagenite was a suprise, but now I know it's there. I can see hints of it from the outside, the needles are growing into the bubbles of agate.

The calico I've done was pink with some gold and white. First off, great photos! Secondly, fantastic cabs!! I love the malachite (well it is green), the crazy lace (never seen anything like that before) and that last burro creek. Really nice shapes on the whole lot.

Great job of locating your cuts on the slabs! I really like all of them. You did Jamie's Chrysocolla proud ... some of nicest I've seen.
