I had a minute tonight, and ever since I've had my Bruneau piece dopped and ready, than after seeing Adrians Bruneau set, I just had to do mine tonight. It turned out pretty good. It's very forgiving material, as it polishes up so nicely. It was a hard shape for me to do, but it turned out alright. Just had to throw this pick in to. A nice Fire Agate nodule I got today. I got this with a bunch of other slabs from a yard sale. i posted a bunch in the ID section, cuz i don't know what they are. Thanks! Steve

Your Bruneau came out beautiful, Steve! Me too, I find difficult to cab that rhombic shape.
The fire agate is a beauty! Are you going to cab it, or are you affraid of loosing the "fire"?

Beautiful the Bruneau! Very interesting agate you have there. Looks like some tiny animal but I'm not sure what exactly it reminds me of.

Steve, you did an amazing job! But, your poor fingers... I think it was worth it, tho; you have an awesome cab! That Bruneau is gorgeous.

The brueau is awesome - I did that shape once - hubby said it would stab someone - the shape is perfect for the pattern
as for the fire agate - I think I'd leave it like that - but then again, I'm a big chicken...

Man, your yard sales put the ones over here to shame!! I think I'd have to work that Fire agate a bit and wrap it, or cast something for it. NIce work on that Bruneau! Yeah, I knew you were grinding your fingers that night with the beer and music night T

Thanks You guys! My fingers...my poor, poor fingers!!! You all sound like my MOM. This is how my fingers look normally; believe it or not. I am a nail biter, but mostly my hands are working man hands. Winter times much worse. I don't know what I'll do with that Fire Agate. It actually has fire throughout the whole piece. Your nice comments actually make me think I'm getting the hang of this cabbing stuff; but still a long way to go to get to perfection. Steve
