Well I got a batch of flint done. It did not take a polish like I like, but the colors the tumbler brought out are very nice The fossils pieces I have are in stage 2, they disintegrated alot in stage 1. Hopefully they will not go to much firther. The colors in them are comeing out nicely. The next project.

Nice batch, which ones are fossils? I like the red and yellow/mustard stones. Oh, welcome to RTH, I'm a bit of a newbie also.

It's pretty fun watching the stones transform from colorless or drab...to Beauties! That's what makes all that waiting worthwhile. Steve

I have found that if I use a combination of 1/2 Cerium Oxide and 1/2 Aluminum Oxide, I even get a great shine on the pieces that I got a satin sheen on before. Prime example is my bloodstone. Tami
