So I'm not sure where to post this but here I go-
I have the new Samsung Instinct, a touch screen phone with a clear plastic screen. The first night I had it, I put it in the same pocket as my keys and acquired a small scratch on the screen.
Would a light slurry of AO polish on a microfiber towel take the scratch out?
I am really afraid to screw the phone up, it is awesome, but it would be nice to get rid of the scratch.
Just thinkin....

I was a helicopter mechanic in the Air Force. We used Brasso to remove scratches in the plexi-glass windshields. Also worked on plastic watch lenses. I guess they still make the stuff, it is a brass polish.

I work for a glass company. We use cerium oxide to polish glass.

I'd try the Brasso, Sniv - it absolutely won't hurt it. It may not get the whole scratch out, but it WILL minimize it's appearance. My kids use Brasso occasionally on their Gameboy screens (DS).

Thanks Turq, your comment gives me the incentive to go get some. I tried the AO and helped a little, so I think the Brasso will be the right thing for me. Thanks to everyone for your input.
