The only posibilities I come up with are:
Muskovite, but I have never seen a 2 tone muskavite.
Sunstone, but the light play in the pick seems wrong for sunstone
Strawberry quartz.
Can you post more pics at different angles?

The stone is pretty uniform throughout back to front. Here is a close up of the surface. It took a good polish but I don't think it is as hard as agate

Just a "WAG" but it looks like well polished granite.
