here are a few that I felt satisfied with coming out of my very first batch. The others I fear, need more time in fine grit so they're going back in with some others. I have no idea what these stones are, as I am totally new to all this and just found these down by the river. The moon shaped stone I am curious about however, if anyone knows what it is, can you tell me? It's really cool looking. I assumed it was a type of turitella limestone. as you can see, it holds a dull polish. click them to enlarge

That little rock you are holding is awesome. Those are some nice beach rocks. nice color.

The moon shaped rock is really cool it looks like it has a petrogliph on it. The white stones in your batch are probably snowquartz. You did a good job on those. Tami

thanks and that moon shaped one is strange. i dont know what would even make that shape and it mirrors itself on the stone
