I purchased 1 stone at the Lincoln rock show, and I have already given it away to a fellow lapidarist. Lapidarian? (Are those real words? You know what I mean).
I have been trying to find out where the heck to buy more actual NE blue agate; have not had much success. If anyone knows where/how I can buy some, I would love to know!
Thanks so much! K

The real words,,,,,,,,,,,lapidary is the craft of creating gems from stone, and the person doing so is a lapidary, so it is lapidary lapidary lapidary.

Woody, I agree, lapidary is the process and the person performing the act of working stones. I get frustrated with magazine articles where the try to be artsy fartsy and use the term incorrectly to make it look like they are lapidary artists. Unfortunately, the reading public gets the wrong words inserted into their vocabulary. I have to correct myself sometimes when they almost slip into my vocabulary. Bob
