Steve Holmes sent me a box full of these beauties and for the most part, i cut them in half and went "ooooh, ahhhh", then people started tumbling them....so i had to give it a go. these looked great coming out of polish, but they really need a burnish cycle to clean some of the "innards": thanks for looking! KD, They turned out fantastic! Did you do any rind grinding?? I had the same problem with the polish...but the burnishing really takes care of it. Thanks fro sharing. Steve

Looks like you put the classic great KD shine on those babies!
I really like the contrast of transluscent bluish agate set in the brownish matrix rock. But I'm kinda anal about tumbling, so the vuggy ones don't really work for me -- I much prefer the fully rounded stones, like those in the bottom of the first picture.
I'd love to see a close-up group shot of all the rounded stones together.

these reminded me of the mint candies as well. Very nice. Good enough to eat for sure!
