Almost finished, just need to get the diamond paste. They're pretty shiny already... Couldn't wait to show them to you! high-dome Red Plume nodule, this was not a biscuit, lots of druzy pits Blue and Gold Moss biscuit I call this one, "The Bud" - It's a classic Red and Black plume biscuit - Some fool left it in his discard pile at the Ranch. Dan calls it, "The Picnic Table agate". We found a lot of nice discarded agate on the picnic tables by the Ranch house. This is the first "Wycked" cab to go into my personal collection. Backlit A high-domed translucent agate from Woodward Ranch Golden Moss biscuit, these look like they have paislies in side Another from the same slab A Red Plume and a tiny piece of the Red Orbicular (rare!) I found. These were both biscuits. Red Plume backlit Dendritic Marfa agate, I see it needs more sanding Another Marfa agate with a nice natural boytroidal pocket A translucent tube agate from the Ranch and a crescent shaped Marfa Bouquet agate The Whole Group Hope you like em... ;)S

WOW Susan! Those are looking really sweeet! Youre doing an awesome job. I'll bet your smiling ear-to-ear when your out grinding on that new machine. I love the assortment of shapes and sizes. My favorite has got to be that Picnic Table Agate. That is really nice. I also love your red plumey ones. Thanks for sharing. Steve

I love that translucent tube. It looks like a pink feather is floating in it. That Marfa with the botroidal pocket is incredable! What a find with "the bud".

I like 'em all! they're all my favorites.
Dumb question: what do you mean by "biscuit"? - to me that means "cookie"

the best agate at Woodward Ranch is found in the biscuits. Biscuits are flat, sometimes oval, rust colored pitted nodules that look very much like the rest of the basalt that's lying around. But, peel the skins off and they contain wondrously beautiful agate - plume, moss, and colors beyond our wildest imagination.
Dan got a gazillion of 'em last year. I think he said 13 pounds of biscuits...we had to go out to fetch him after dark one night 'cuz he couldn't stop hunting for the damn biscuits and Kim had dinner waiting.
I'll try to get some photos of biscuits up later.

When you say last year, do you mean last trip, or year? If you mean last year, I think I may have forgotten to pick up that bisquit in my rush to make the plane. Go ahead and send it to me, thanks!! Nice cabs.

I meant last trip, this year. You wouldn't believe the stuff people left behind...of course it all looked like pitted, rusty rock...this was one of my best finds of the trip, however.

They are so very nice. You're doing an excellent job on them. IMHO WWR has the best agates anywhere.
