It's been months. Blame it lots of things, including a skin rash, and a little burn out. But here area few that were made with jewelry in mind! And thanks to the guru of shine, Stoner, and I'm another convert to diamond paste on leather! ;D Labradorite, destined for a bracelet. Boulder opal from Nephrite! Ready to be wrapped. A piece of jade, also from the package I got from Nephrite - will be part of a bracelet. Another boulder opal. Same source. Another labradorite. I really love this stuff! Must be my hippy, California background, and the memory of mood rings. Coooool!

Beautiful cabs! I love the shape of the second BO. I second a request for a pic when the bracelet with the Lab is done.

Finally is an understatement! I'm surprised the wheels on your grinder weren't rusted in place!!! But it looks like you haven't missed a beat, these are all nice looking cabs. Oh, and I hate to be one of those I told you so people........Diamond paste is the way to go, no messy oxides to apply, no water, and it lasts for a long time. And when it seems like it's not working so well anymore, just spray a shot of silicone on it and it will be good as new.

Ha! Thanks everyone, it's nice to be back! Yeppers, Stoner 'told me so' a loonnnnng time ago, but I had a whole spray bottle of CeO, and a creature of habit to boot. I was so surprised how neat it was! No spraying, getting white stuff all over me, less noisy with that sheeps wool tied onto the end pad....lol.

Very nice Dee! I'm really diggin' the jade, and that second BO is outstanding! Glad you conquered the rash and the burn out, now crank out some more cabs! ;D

Hey, Dee! Very nice indeed. I like the shapes on the last opal and lab. I'm with you on the labridorite. I like it's 60's flashes too, labradorite reminds me of an electric yoyo I used to have Tony

those are all very nice. I have trouble getting the diamond paste to shine my stones, but looks like you have no trouble at all. i don't know what i am doing wrong.

Thanks, everyone!
Hey, stonesthatrock, Ed told me to really rub it in good with my finger, and NOT use the extender when I do it. I don't know if that helps at all, but I sure do like the shine I"m getting!

Also, if you're using a rough leather pad, it needs to be broken in first.
Hey Tony, I still have an electric yo-yo!
