Here is a Koroit... And some groupings of my last few cabs, some new, I forgot I had.... second group and third Last time I was out rock hunting I laid my hand down on this quartz point while digging out a bit of crystal. I didn't even see it until I stood back up. You sure can focus in on the rocks sometimes and not the shapes... glad it wasn't a Rattle Snake!! Got this one out of my next door neighbor's freshly tilled garden while hunting it a few days later. Thanks, Tony

Nice cabs Tony. That 1st BO is awesome and I do like that Labradorite. The points are way cool. Lucky you can find them so close. That 1st point looks near perfect. Steve

I could just fall into that first BO...the depth of color is just amazing! All of them are awesome, though!

Thanks, ya'll. I'm glad you like opal too, because it looks like I just can't seem to stay away from it Steve, I have mound cities to the north and south of me and a major trading trail comes right through here so points and shards and such are everywhere if your eyes are sharp. When they were grading the 40 acres across from me to put in a sub div. point hunters found what they think was a hunting camp. Got shards and scrappers and points. Point hunters are good ones to ask about rocks. It was a point hunter that told me where to look for the quartz cyrstals where I found the big point. T

I had the same tought as Tony the turner; so you DO cut cabs from other types of stone!!!! Maybe you've posted them before, but the opals seem to take center stage.
