Hi guys! I've been cabbing, I promise...I've just been VERY bad about taking photos lately. I've got a whole lot of stuff to share with you guys, but these were all I managed to take photos of tonight before my camera battery died. Burro Creek Jasper from MichaelJohn: Green moss agate: Cool picture jasper...this was a weird sliver. It's about 5 inches long, and only about 1/2" wide at the base. I'm thinking of drilling a hole through the top, adding a ring and wearing it like that:

I must agree that moss is unreal real. Looks like a morph between green tree and moss agate.

I love the moss too. Super shine. Go for it with the long skinny one.

Glad to see some of your cabs Titania. That Moss is really out of this world...but I think I like the Picture Jasper best. Cool shape too. You do some really great work. Can't wait to see more. Steve

That moss is unbelievable! I think you are right about the the picture jasper. It needs nothing on it; beautiful just as it is. Beautiful work!

Steve I have to say that that picture jasper is one of my favorite cabs that I've done. Not necessarily because it's the most flashy, but I really love the colors and shape. It was a really challenging cab to create...working a cab 5" long on 6" wheels isn't easy. I had to be really careful not to keep bumping into the wheel next to the one I was working on. It worked out, though. Thanks for the comments, everyone!

I think the picture jasper is awesome, I'm amazed! I didn't think a long skinny piece would hold up under all of that grinding pressure. I'm guessing you used your fingers, not a dop stick. Fabulous shine on all. The reflections on your Burro Creek make it look like a ghost with 2 big eyes...

Yup, you guessed right, fingers only, no dop sticks. I would imagine something like this would be very difficult, if not impossible to do with a dop stick. LOL@ the ghost comment...didn't notice that! ;D

Wow never seen anything like that moss. I love the picture jasper too. One question though, which end is the top? I think I'd make the right the top but that might make it look more masculine so maybe the left would be more feminine.

The "top" to me is the square end on the right.

Cool looking green moss. I've got some blue moss that looks like that, never seen it in green.
