This is a green jasper from Australia with small thundereggs (brown silicified rhyolite with blue agate centers) - so jasper, agate, and thundereggs to boot. Rainforest Jasper. Guess I won't cut this one. (Maybe just a little wedge off the end, eh?)

That little wedge on the end is an eyesore...you'd definitely better cut it off! That's REALLY cool material! Any watch-outs if you want to purchase some? Like does it have the tendency to be really pitty?

Titania - sometimes the thunder egg parts are all matrix, sometime they're not yet filled with agate. So yes - it can be both pitty and soft in sections.
That's a really nice piece, though. I really like the blue of the agate.

VERY interesting and unique rock. Don't cut it until it doesn't "tell" to you what to do with it.
