I don't know how many of you had read that my 6" saw arbor/shaft went kaputt on me; but Kev pm'd me and said he'd gladly fix it. I got it back yesterday. Let me say...I was sooo excited to get it back and couldn't wait to fire it up. It was like night and day; like going from a Kia to a Rolls Royce. The saw ran so smoothly, and it didn't keep my neighbors up all night. I gotta publicly tell Kev; THANKS!!! So..here's a few I did yesterday evening & throughout the night..in Kev's honor! ;D the whole lot... some sort of Dendritic Agate from Utah(bugger to polish and pitty) Biggs Jasper, (gotta repolish this one), a nice moss agate from Rockhobbit, purple unknown, and piece of Laguna with moss?? Close-ups of a couple. Love this little moss or whatever it is. I love the little blue cottonballs in the upper right corner I love this one..although I'm not a huge purple guy. I had to reshape the bottom as it had a fracture and it broke. I reiceved the slab from a guy in Utah. Thanks for looking. I'm gonna try to get a few more finished today. It will be the last time I get to play with rocks until I get back home around the 12th. Steve

Cool cabs Steve. The purple one looks like a buzzard if you tilt your head.

I love the purple one. It could be Charoite. The older stuff had a bit of a pink undertone in parts of the purple and had some darker purple areas. If the eye looking thing is chatoyant than I would guess it is. I like the Biggs too. Great job on all. Way to go Kev!

They're all sweet, but that purple is out-of-this-world!

What everybody said! Looks like the purple one wins the blue ribbon! I just backed off from the magic box, and it watched me no matter where I went in the office! Woody

Steve, those are really good looking cabs. I really like the two brownish ones in the first photo.
What Kev did is one of the reasons that RTH keeps going strong; people helping people. Nice.

Great cabs! I like very much each of them but mostly the purple one, and I also have a sugestion: in order to hide better the accidental fracture, you could fillet (round) the bottom end in the same manner as the top end.
WTG Kev!
