Hi, everyone! Remember that set I did a few months ago? I was quite content with it, excepting the darkness of the big cab compared to the small one. I read somewhere in a book that a method to make the cabs to have lighter colors (especially garnets) is to make a concave back on them. So I tried this method on this cab: And here's the result: The change is not very visible in the pics (first one compared to the third one) but believe me, the patterns are more visible and the colors are enhanced Thanks for looking, and I would be glad if this method would be useful for some of you. how did you achieve the concavity, Adrian? looks great!!! KD I was pretty sure that question would pop sooner or later. I didn't expect it to be so quick though, I still didn't take a pic: it's a resin diamond disk which has the resin stripe shaped in semi-circular section instead of the classical rectangular section. Adrian PS. Thanks for the arppreciations

Very nice, as always. The picture does show a difference. Looks lighter, almost like a "see through". You do great work, always appreciate your photos. Don

WTG Adrian! Wow, you're rapidly becoming an expert. I like to see out of the ordinary things and you seem to come up with some nice ones.

Nice job. I can see the diff and it's quite a bit brighter. Good work on that idea.

Wow, that is fantastic, Adrian. What a difference that makes! Could you post a photo of the resin disk you were referring to?
