Here is my third cab, I'm on a roll This one's really small. It's a sort of jasper, not sure, is it picture jasper, anyone knows what exactly it is? Got it in the box from Amy. The second pic didn't catch the shine, but it's nice shiny (although not as shiny as I see cabs around here). The more I do the more I realise how much I have to learn to make them real nice. But I'll catch up with everyone here soon Marika

Marika,
That's a nice leopardskin jasper cab. Great composition and shape. Leopardskin can be hard to shine because it varies in hardness sometimes. You did a great job. Look forward to seeing more.

You really are on a roll! Nice composition and shape... it looks like you might have an eye for this type of work.

Keep on going, you're doing great. Thats a nice cab, esp. for a beginner. I think you are going to be a great cabber just give it time and practice.

Leopardskin japser if pretty finicky, sometimes it shines brightly others, you just get a dull matte finish
Looks like you got the high gloss on that one - very addictive isn't it?

Ooooooh-very nice Marika! I've got some of this stuff, and now I know what it is! I can't get a decent shine either-2 pieces I keep banging my head on. You've done a lot better than me!

Beautiful piece! Very nice, funky sort of shape, nicely proportioned, whenever I try stuff like that I end up grinding it down to nothing. Do a couple a day and you'll be a pro in no time.
