I found a small piece of variegated jasper (I think that's what it is, anyway), which I originally wanted to tumble, and decided to play with it instead. And this is the result. This was the shape roughly, so I left it at that, it's not a typical cab shape, but I mostly wanted to get a better feel for making a dome, and for getting that higher gloss, while I'm still learning. So here is my fourth piece... Regarless of the results, I'm having fun! Marika  |

That's some gorgeous brecciated jasper, another sample from my gift-exchange box from redwoodrocks. I've tried tumbling a few pieces, but I really want a machine like yours!
