Of course, I couldn't stay away from my original hobby, wire wrapping, so I've decided to wrap my first cab, the morrisonite. I found a bit difficult wrapping a triangle, but hope you like it anyway Marika

Very nice! I love the way you swirled the 4 wires around at the top. Did you use round to wrap it with as it looks round? Keep at it, they keep getting better better.

The wires are all round, except the thinner that I used for wrapping them together, they are 24ga half-round. I'm thinking that square round would have been better instead of round, but sadly the only wire I can find around here is round.

I have not wrapped with round in this kind of wrap but I find that 22 g square is easy to work with. If you want I can provide the link where I buy my wire. They don't advertise the wire on their web site but they do usually have it in 1oz lot. Around 27.00 per oz. Also, I am picking some wire up in about a week, if you want I can send enough length to you to try it out first so you wont be waisting money if you don't like it. Just pm me.

I love how wire transforms a stone - I know it was a triangle, but it sure doesn't look like a triangle now!
Very nice job, Marika! (Feels great to know you had creative control from beginning to end, huh...)

Very nice job. I love it when the wrap displays the stone without hiding it in coils and curleyques.

Excellent first try! How many times did it take you to actually sit down with the stone, wire and start wrapping? How many false starts? ;-) Keep it up!
